| I have used generic chimney starters in the past,and, while they worked, they were also awkward and slow to get going. On the Weber 7416, the convex wire base, ample vent holes, and extremely comfortable double handle make this unit work perfectly. Two sheets of newspaper, given a quick spray with Pam, then crumpled, will have you ready to cook in less than 20 minutes. This is a great product, period! |

| this blower is an effective alternative to most gas powered products. while it doesn't have the capacity of a top-of-the-line, professional-grade, gas-powered blower (it won't blow away small rocks) it is certainly strong enough to clear my deck and driveway of the acorns my oak tree sheds four months out of the year. it is light in weight, well-balanced, and has good ergonomic design. the variable power knob allows me to match the blower output to the task at hand. controls are easy to use. the blower ... | I read all the reviews and after 3-4 weeks research and reading decided to buy a used one for $50 on Craig's List in case all the negatives were true. They weren't. No set-up problems as it was already assembled. It cuts very well. MUCH easier to push than my power mower as it is weighs a lot less. Cuts a slightly narrower path but so easy and fast to push, it still takes less time. It doesn't like grass over 6" but just turn around and go over it again. | Deer were destroying our gardens and deer repellents weren't working. I purchased two Scarecrows and so far the deer have stayed awayed. The first couple of nights I could hear the Scarecrows going off but it quickly stopped after that and so far so good. If it stays this way then the Scarecrows were worth every penny. |

| I got this saw after an ice-storm in Tulsa caused serious damage to a dozen trees. It had no problem cutting through a 16" oak trunk.
It's a workhorse that performs well. It tends to drink oil, but I guess that's good for performance and chain life. There's a gizmo that's a screwdriver/wrench for chain removal. I lost mine because THERE'S NOWHERE ON THE SAW HOUSING TO STASH IT (are you listening Poulan). Otherwise, chain adjustment and removal are pretty straightforward. |
