| I ordered this book when I found out I was pregnant with my first child. Many of my family members had used earlier editions with their pregnancies. I was not disappointed. I like how it breaks up the chapters into months (weeks) of pregnancy. It goes into details about symptoms and reliefs, development of the baby, and questions you may have. | I was hopeful that this approach was going to work for our little one. She had colic for the first 3.5 months and cried a lot. Therefore i was looking for a sleep approach that didn't require additional crying. We didn't start any real sleep "training" until 4 months. And bottomline... we have come to the conclusion, some crying must occur. I know that ALL babies are different, but this approach was not the one for us. |

| I read a lot of baby books in preparation for new baby - mostly from the library - and I can say that this is one of the books that I did end up buying to use as reference. It is well written and contains a lot of information in one place. Also nice to get a father's perspective. |

Many of my questions were answered in this book and every advise in this book is the same as what my OB would advise. I would recommend this book to any pregnant woman. | This book has so much info in it, it borders on overwhelming. But I learned so much about my own situation after only 1 month of using the methods described. I am now armed with evidence and questions for my OB/GYN, and am confident that a pregnancy may happen within the next 6 months, now that my doctor and I can be pointed in the right direction. I recommend this book to any woman questioning whether her cycles are "normal" and has had problems getting pregnant. |
