| The book has much of what you expect in a first aid book. The one problem is that the book hasn't been updated in a long time. One of the treatments recommended was outdated and wrong. |

| The book was a bit too basic for my taste. I understand that the layperson doesn't have access to many things that a doctor does. But to me, the book was more about band-aids than it is about stitches. I think it could have been a little meatier.
Due to the limited availability of many medicines to the average Joe (or Jane), I suppose the writer couldn't put in a lot of information on how to treat as a doctor would. But I was actually hoping for more of that kind of information. |

| This booklet was great. I taught a small refresher course in CPR/PR and used it. The information is presented in a very easy to understand format and the review questions at the end of the chapters are wonderful. |

Useful for people involved with youth groups, civic groups, those who may be acting like "first responders" etc. Very well written, easy to read, understand and learn from. Main points are reinforced with multiple scenarios and "bullet points". A great resource to keep at home as well for reference. | This is an excellent, detailed guide to first aid procedures. It is clearly written and contains plenty of photographs. It covers CPR, Mouth to Mouth, Shock, Burns, Bleeding, and a number of other medical conditions (heart attack, asthma, etc.). All in all, it is a comprehensive treatise on first aid procedures.
