| I was pregnant when I purchased this, so wasn't really looking to lose weight. Something I read about it made me think I could channel the hypnosis for other goals, however--and I was right. I focused on curing my pregnancy-induced insomnia, improving my confidence at work, in addition to helping me keep my pregnancy weight gain under control. I fully believe this program helped in all these areas, and look forward to the time my new son allows me to use it again, this time for its intended purpose! |

| Every therapist who treats people with borderline personality disorder should use this book. It's an organized way to move through steps necessary for the recovery process. Would also work great in a group therapy setting with an "AA" type approach. I would recommend this to anyone recovering from this disorder. |

| The lecture by Dr. Weil is excellent information on the dynamics and scientific work being done with medical hypnosis. The sessions with Dr. Gurgevich on Disc 2 were a review for me having already been trained as a hypnotherapist. Therefore, this is a CD I would only listen to once and/or refer to if trying to start someone else out with hypnosis. I also channeled it to help myself improve in many other areas having nothing to do with weight. I think you can focus this program for anything you need work on. | Its hard for a hypnotist that sells's CD's for mass consumption to make a specialized tape. This is a good tape but I preferred Mind Over Platter which I felt was more specific to women. This tape will taper mindless eating though. |
