| Well, I'm 14 and perfectly authorized to write a review for this book since it IS for teenagers. The entire freshman class is being required to read this book as a part of our 48 Books Program and some of us like it and some of us absolutely can't stand it. I would give it the fact that it's remotely interesting but it's mean in a way that if you do something wrong you're totally undermining your self-esteem and I think that's just plain wrong. | I purchased this initially as a read aloud with my teens, but my 12 year old wanted to read it on her own... she has enjoyed reading it then asking me some questions concerning the issues in the book. The six topics address issues: school, friends, parents, dating and sex, addictions,self-worth, all issues that helped start some great conversations with my child.
