| I wish I would have read this many years ago. It's great for career, and personal areas. I bought a few copies to share with others. As long as you are interested in becoming a better person, and not just a novel, this is the book that will deliver. |

| I'm not sure what influenced me to buy this book but I sure am glad I did. The author, Dale Carnegie, has been dead for over 50 years but the principles in this book are timeless.
You dont have to sit and read the book from cover to cover either. To be blatently honest, its a great bathroom reader. Each chapter is independent enough so that you do not have to really read them in any order. | I am leary (and weary) of self help, so it is a great compliment that Dale Carnegie remains one self help author whom I greatly admire and always enjoy reading. This book, a forgotten classic, is as relevant today as it was 50 years ago. Carnegie understood the importance of voice and diction and public speaking, and this book is as good as any introduction to these topics as you are likely to find anywhere. Highly recommended. |

| This book gives good advice for REAL situations that are often encountered. The advice is good in that it encourages girls to "let it go" rather than holding a grudge, explains how to keep the peace with their parents, and is chock full of good examples. The advice is geared more towards teen situations (or tweens) but is good advice to anyone! |
