| Lens is excellent - service provided by the seller Allcam first rate let down only by the staggering incompetence of the delivery courier Citylink who managed to attempt to deliver to the wrong address twice in succession.

| Optically this lense does everything it sets out to do, although with some vignetting at 200. However it does suffer from zoom creep, even when new, [I have an e mail from nikon admitting this] and this can only get worse as the lens mechanism wears. Records of lenses sent back to cure this are not good. In short this problem can only really be cured with a suitable elastic band which of course makes a bit of a laughing stock of an expensive Nikon product. The new Tamron lense out soon will have ... | ....early, and there was no point leaving it in its box with the gtee running. A really cool-looking camera, that my 16yr old had up and running in minutes, without the need for instructions.
Unfortunately (for me) the pics are of such quality, that I look clearly terrible in the pics he's taken - which is a good thing, as it's gotten me onto a diet! This Nikon SB-800 Speedlight was purchased to be used with a D300 D-SLR. Although not the most powerful flashgun available on the market it's however, powerful enough and extremely well built and it's manual is very comprehensive and I'm still digesting all of it's content. | I find Amazon UK really good for buying books, also the Marketplace, deliveries are always on time. Driven by this efficiency I always got from them, I committed a big mistake: I bought this camera from Amazon UK on 21st of August 2008, together with a leathercase and a flashcard. Today is 10th of September 2008, and I still didn't get the camera from them (the leathercase and flashcard arrived on time, from 3rd party sellers). | Dissapointed with the quality of photos. Comparing the 1010 to its previous model, 840 - there was a big difference in quality of photos. 1010 was blurry around the edges and 840 was crisp. This is the disadvantage of having all the extra's packed into a compact camera- however, you would think that Olympus make the newer model atleast of the same quality. Fine for regular photos, but as soon as you want to do some cropping and blowing photos to larger sizes, sacrifice quality a great deal. I find the 840 the better option, or even ... Read More: |

It's the same issue even after disabling driver signing. There are no updated drivers on the Veho or Sonix(camera maker) web sites. |
