I bought this initially to plug into my ASUS - Eee PC 701 4G blue (UK version) (I know it's supposed to be a challenge to get it working on Linux). The A6 size seemed perfect for mobile computing but the actual tablet is quite a bit bigger (195 x 197 x 11 mm). Don't fancy lugging it around so it's on my home PC running XP. Using it as a mouse was a bit awkward at the start. The mouse mode was all over the shop so I kept it in pen mode but you have to move your hand to get at the lower right portion ... Read More:

I bought this laptop because of it's low price and its boast of 80GB. Only to discover it's much lower so it got sent back but asked for a replacement. That came swiftly enough but it had the same GB. Then on the same day, after installing just one programme, I was forced to use the restore to factory settings utility as the laptop simply would not shut down - even closing the lid did not help it turn off so I had to wait for the battery to wear itself out. Thankfully once it was restored everything so ... Read More:

first off, note this tablet has an A5 sized work area, but maps itself to the screen you have (I'm using it on a 27" and its more than fine).
It has 4 customizable buttons, for ease of use I've set mine to load Firefox, MSN Mesenger, Back and Forward buttons for Web / Folder navigation.
You can pretty much map the buttons to what you want, even a series of keystrokes!

This tablet works with both XP and Vista.

For Vista, it's fantastic.
for XP, its good.

I bought this laptop after seeing a friends in use for 3 months. My friend had no problems, but the one I bought (and its replacement) both had faults and were returned. Amazon's returns policey was very good and I obtained a refund without any hassle.

The moral is, IF YOU BUY ONE - CHECK IT OUT THOROUGHLY; especially the functions that you don't use so often.

This is the first tablet I have used and it is making life a lot easier, as I have problems with my muscles and using my hands so the mouse is now almost redundant. The "artrage" software is a lot of fun and easy to use, so all in all it has been an excellent buy.

This is the first tablet i have owned. I have always dabbled with the idea of purchasing a Wacom, even sitting in an Apple store for an hour trying it out. I was unable to justify spending the kind of money Wacoms are for the size so i purchased this little beauty.

I recieved it through the door and before long i managed to plug it in and get it working. I am using Windows Vista on a Sony Vaio and it works pretty nicely. My screen is just a little bit bigger than the tablet.

I use this for ... Read More:

Try making a button for a web page and exporting it using Coreldraw X3. It's a very frustrating process. The background that should be transparent isn't and neither is the circle shape of the button round. Useless. Does other things well enough but certainly has serious flaws with regard to web graphics. I wonder if I could have bought something better.
Also the Corel website does not allow an open forum for purchasers. Draw your own conclusioms.

I have used my old Wacom Graphire A6 tablet for many years now and found it OK but a bit on the small size.
The larger Wacom Intuos3 A5 Tablet Pen and Mouse USB is the perfect size and the no battery mouse and stylus are excellent. The scroll/zoom sliders are very useful and suite left and right handed users.
I echo the praise regarding the functionality and sturdy design in the other reviews.
I would just like to mention that the Ultra Smooth surface of the tablet has helped reduced the sensitivity in my palms, ... Read More:

Computer : Wacom - Bamboo Graphics Tablet
I got this tablet not for drawing, signing, or commenting. The primary reason was because the use of the computer mouse was staining my hand and arm. I heard about this alternative while visiting a university in which an ergonomic specialist prescribed these tablets for everyone as an alternative to the mouse. Since I started using Bamboo, I no longer have strain problems with my arm.

If you experience, or fear experiencing, Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), this is a great tool.
