| I did not wish to spend too much as I would not need it much in the UK, however, I needed all the help I could for my annual hols. on the Costa del Sol and this has European mapping.
The first indication that it would not be plain sailing was at home when I could not locate the destinations for inserting into the favourites for future use using the area codes and the street names. | Had used TomTom GPS before on a PDA and had even borrowed a V1 TomTom One for a trial run, so I was familiar with many of its shortcomings before purchase. Poor battery life, road info not up to date, slow GPS signal capture etc.were all things I knew about but wasn't unduly bothered about - it's the base model after all. 2 weeks after purchase the screen developed a fault, rendering it unreadable. | A very handy gadget that does exactly what it claims. Compared to my previous (older gen.) Garmin it is much simpler to use and the speed of boot-up/satellite tracking is much faster. The heart-rate monitor works very well...I especially like the alerts when the HR goes too slow/fast. Only slight drawback is it looks and feels slightly more bulky than I expected, but will get used to this. Overall, very pleased and worth the money. |

| This Tom Tom One V3 Europe Sat Nav is absolutely fantastic. Very easy to use. Clear instructions on how to set up and link to PC for updates. Bought this two weeks before going to France and it was so helpful - even my husband agreed!! I would highly recommend this. |

| I had some reservations about a film protector for my Iphone but wanted to protect the screen from scratches. I found this product superb, very easy to apply with a nice matt finish.
At this price is a bargain considering they sell a similar one at the Apple store for 19 quid. |

| This little beauty turned up about 2 weeks ago and i must say Iam really chuffed with it! I was looking for something that would charge my ipod and sony erricson phone on the move as I am barely at home or near a mains socket! The power monkey fits the bill perfectly and works really well. i was amazed how long its lasts before having to re-charge it and it comes with every adpater under the sun! You can even charge it via USB! Point to note: it says on the box that and the ipod USB lead (the lead that comes with the ipod) is required to charge an ipod ... Read More: |

| I purchased a Garmin i3 a few years ago, as it was the cheapest (and smallest) satnav then on the market. It has served me well, with all the features I wanted. Yes, it sometimes took a while to find satellites and I couldn't upload silly voices to it, but otherwise it always worked, rarely took me to a wrong destination and responded well not only to being dropped regularly (it was a weird pod shape), but also to the regularly updated speed camera database available from pocketgpsworld for £19.00 a year.

| Good Points:
This is a very useful device, it is accurate and up to now has been very reliable. The car mode is very accurate and the estimated arrival time gives a very good indication of when you are likely to reach the destination. I found this SatNav to be reasonably easy to program, it is quick at route changes and finds satellites reasonably quickly. Bad Points: Every part of Europe is treated differently with regard to map updates and speed camera updates so there is a separate charge for updated maps ... Read More: |

| A few mates in the Army had eTrex units and always spoke very highly of them (rugged, idiot proof, accurate) so decided I'd give it a go. Looked on Amazon and realised that the eTrex was being sold by someone else so with the P&P it came out more expensive than the eTrex H from Amaxon with free delivery. Bit of a no brainer! I ordered the eTrex H in a bit of a rush before I went gadding around the Transylvanian Alps. Unit arrived in 3 days (thanks Amazon!) and off I trotted.
