| The router was fairly easy to set up and maintains connectivity well. However, coverage to some parts of my house is patchy (eg I have to leave the doors open to maintain connectivity). I decided to change the antenna for a more powerful one - a commonly-suggested means to improve coverage. The trouble is that the currently shipping version (v4) of this router has a fixed antenna that CANNOT BE REPLACED.
Earlier versions allowed replacement. |

| Installed and used 3 of them over the years, in different PC's, XP, Vista - no problem at all. Much better connection than my Belkin adapters-I threw those away and replace with these |

| The best router I've ever used. Plugged it in and it worked immediately with virgin broadband. Took less than 15 mins to get it working with 1 wired & 1 wireless connection. Strong signal everywhere in house. No knowledge of networking needed to set this up as it does all the work for you. |

No problems. Can't fault it. Easy install etc etc... I would give it 5 stars if there was someone to store the cap. As it is, you need to try and not lose it when you have the stick plugged in! I can live with that... especailly for this price. Don't pay any more when this will do the job better than some others I have had. |

| Worked fine, but never after a reboot. My advice is to download the latest firmware from Belkin - for mine (v3.xx) this was f5d7050v3_ww_03.00.02_w2.exe
This has a much better Wireless Configuration GUI and you shoudl be fine - even so, I configured (via the new GUI) so that Windows XP manages the WiFi connection in the normal way. Now all is fine, even from reboot. Works great apart from this caveat. |

| I spent hours trying to get a Belkin wireless extender to work but eventually gave up. I took it back and exchanged it for the dLan Highspeed homehub starter pack. It said 1 minute installation on the box, so I set out to prove them wrong. To my surprise, it took 28 seconds from the devices and cables being out of the box to having the PS3 conneted to the internet from the other side of the house. | I am a total novice regarding IT stuff, I had this connected set-up and running in 20mins. Thought is was going to be a nightmare but set up CD was brill. Kids well happy, strong signal and good connection speeds. |

| Linux Xubuntu (8.04 Hardy Heron) on a rather old and knackered laptop.
It arrived yesterday so I don't know about longevity but it works fine, as far as I can tell. Good value, does what it's supposed to. No complaints. |

| Bought this to stream HD videos on my Linksys media extender DMA2200 in the bedroom, currently I have a Comtrend EOP which although was stable and could watch TV, it didn't give me the bandwidth needed to stream HDTV.
Plugs are very easy to install, however the bandwidth monitor on my Extender shows that there was not even enough bandwidth for steaming music without interruption!!!!
