After installing the latest graphics drivers for my Dell XPS M1710 and buying the game Mass Effect, my laptop suffered with frequent overheats and noisy performance from the fans running at maximum. | woke up to find a huge cardboard box outside my room, wondering what it could be, i ripped the box apart to find the anti static wrist strap, which was a bit odd seeing as they needed a arms length box to fit it in, either way, i got it the next day, even ordering at round about 5ish.

| Why didnt i buy Artic Silver 5 and the Artic Thermal Material Remover and Thermal Surface Purifier Product`s years ago??? When i received the parcel it was on the small side and i was thinking is there gona be enought hehehe well there was and i promptly opened my pc and removed the heatsink and processor the process was so easy just a few drops on both processor and heatsink wips off then apply the Purifier in the same way wipe off then your ready to go with the Thermal Paste if you have a single processor then you ... | I bought 3 "compressed air cleaners" in argos a few months ago, not exactly the same make but i imagine it is the same capacity etc. It is perfect for the really tight spots in your keyboard/computer and other weird and small places. As i like my computer clean i also got a "mini-vac" but it doesnt reach behind the motherboard or inside fans/heatsinks. I used these cans of air to push out the dust and use the vac to suck up the rest. Out of curiousity i decided to "sniff" the cans of air... No smell at all so you wont get ... Read More: |

| This is a great way to save energy: when you walk away from the computer, just press the button and it instantly sends the 'puter into standby. When you return, just wobble the mouse and the 'puter instantly springs to life.
Mainly. Just occasionally I find it hangs instead of restarting, and takes some minutes to come back to life, which is frustrating. It happens only occasionally - but one star off. But all in all, a great green buy. |
