| if crazy bones frenzy taken over in your childs school these little plastic things will make your child love you forever - well, til next craze, anyway, they (children) make up their own games with them, love collecting them, swapping etc, but look out for local shops that sell them for a little cheaper, plus your child gets them right away, no waiting, which always seems to appeal with mine ;) |

| I was looking for a replacement for my travel magnetic scrabble as the letters on that tend to fall off as the glue holding the letter to the magnet melts in the heat. Apart from that, it was a well designed set which was compact and everything fitted into the board when not being used.

| Lamaze have come up with another highly entertaining toy for babies. The two wrists strap each have a bug shaped rattle on. The velcro design of the fixing means that they are very adjustable and will fit baby's wrists for a long while. My baby enjoys them and I don't have to worry about him dropping them the whole time. | This might call itself Scrabble Original, but it isn't. The Scrabble sets I played on as a lad all had wee holes in the board and pegs on the tiles so that the game wouldn't be ruined by the slightest knock. Sadly no more. It also comes in a stupidly huge box to make storage unnecessarily awkward. Disappointing.

| I bought this as a birthday present for my husband and have had great fun watching him trying to master the art of flying!! We've both been amazed at how the helicopter has stood up to the number of crash landings and bouncing off walls and ceilings. Now he's getting the hang of flying it's been quite interesting to see how the helicopter works and responds to the controls, such as hovering for instance.

| I got this for Christmas for the whole family to play with and it is fun and amazingly works most of the time unless you pick something really obscure. The only real problem with this is that it can grow old very quickly and within about ten minutes the 20Q will be collecting dust in the corner. Not so good if you have a short attention span. |

| This is the Gorillapod for a compact camera.
Although most compact cameras have a tripod socket this is invariably at one end of the body and they feel unstable with some of the small tripods sold for use with a compact camera. This isn't a problem for the Gorillapod as you can bend the legs to make the camera nice and stable. The Gorillapod is more than an ordinary tripod though, I've wrapped it around the banisters in a restaurant to take a group photo and wrapped it around a fence post for outdoor shots. | I'm known amongst my friends for being clumsy and generally unfit.
I can't play tennis for toffee and so I decided to get this to improve my hand/eye co-ordination and to also get a bit of a workout. Easy to assemble and you can alter the height of the pole and the length of the twine to suit. I've found it great on my own (the neightbours get value for money entertainment too) and when I played friends and family at the weekend I had an even better time.
