| Friday morning, both helicopters arrived, very well packed. Instructions very clear and well, everything looked really easy. Batteries in, and great both helicopter's already had a little charge in them, so lets get it flying.
Whatever we did the copter would not lift off, just imedediatly leaning over to the left and the rotors hitting the floor. Very frustrated and dissapointed. Tried the 2nd copter, exactly the same problem, would not lift, just tilting over to the left and rotors ... Read More: |

| I bought this as a birthday present for my husband and have had great fun watching him trying to master the art of flying!! We've both been amazed at how the helicopter has stood up to the number of crash landings and bouncing off walls and ceilings. Now he's getting the hang of flying it's been quite interesting to see how the helicopter works and responds to the controls, such as hovering for instance.

| Technically very clever, this is an evolution of the tiny Picoo Z 2-channel machine that has taken the world by storm.
What they have added to this is a 'Forward' button that gives a surge of forwards movement to the otherwise very slowly moving helicopter. But.... This surge forward comes after a slight but unpredictable delay, and the yaw control (left/right steering) on this machine is less good than on the Picoo Z. | My picoo z was still flying well with a cracked rear rotor blade but I knew one more nose-dive behind the sofa and my fun would be over. Unfortunately my
over enthusiasm after christmas day for tidying up meant the original spare went in the bin with cracker bits. Luckily these are official Silverlit rotors and a pack of three, which I was very happy about as I can play 'Apocolypse Now' to my heart's content. |

| A great idea, and it was huge fun for about 2 weeks. BUT then the tail rotor needed replacing and in the removal and refitiing procedure suddenly it didn't rotate at all. So one helicopter down... The next one lasted about a month longer. I don't think that's value for money. Toys like scaletrix and lego still work after 20 years! |

| Got this because my PicooZ had long since died, and even though I've graduate since to a 4-channel co-axial, I missed the little guy. So, got this as a replacement, as I fancied something a little different looking.
As noted by another reviewer, you get no choice in which of the three infrared channels you will receive, which could cause problems if you want to use more than one at a time (is anyone at Amazon listening? Extremley durable, robust and remarkably lightweight. It will fits kids and Adults alike with its adjustable headband setting inside the helmet. Our kids are scared to death of the Cybermen, so we have had hours of fun stalking them outside their bedroom door late at night !!!! (especially when they wont to go sleep!!!) | Bought this for my 7/8 year old who is mad about space and astronomy, we all think it's absolutely magical. It's very realistic, gives off just the right amount of light and is suitable to play with or just to leave on to go to sleep to. I can think of a few other kids who will be getting these for presents. Just GREAT! |
