| After reading the good reviews on Amazon, I couldn't wait to get going with the software. I must say it has some nice functionality in the charts and reports etc, but the user interface is not that friendly and quite cumbersome to navigate around, far to many pop up windows all over the place whereas, I would prefer all the updating, inputting of notes, images etc to be in 1 window with appropriate tabs. I am glad I didn't spend too much money as I would have been really dissapointed. |

| I have personally found 'Tiger' to be the most efficient OS X to date, and therefore a real favourite for a couple of years when I was working in a graphics department. Their is no doubt Leopard is a beautiful upgrade, containing a stated "300+ upgrades", however, it is by no means essential if you Mac is work work purposes. The extra features we've found are not for the productive side of things, but more for consolidating files, making things visually look better, and a few notable new programs.

Only received my copy yesterday {2nd September 08}and as it says on the box totally easy to use and simple easy instructions to follow. I have started to tell my friends about this software. I have tried 4 other types of website building software and this one just blows them all away. Well pleased is an understatement. | I passed this on to my husband - as the IT 'expert' in our home for him to install and give his opinions.
In his opinion it is easily installed, instructions are clear , and it seems to be compatible with Windows XP which we are runnning. He says that it is a superior product to Norton - which I know we have had problems with over the past few years. | i bought this software for myself as i am soon to start my lessons. I can honestly say that it is a great programe and very helpful. The video lessons and then being able to try it out yourself, whilst being guided throughout is so encouraging.
I would say however, that if you want it to work best, you need a very big RAM, i thought mine was big enough, but if it isn't, you can't always understand what the instructor is saying in the video's and sometimes it picks up on faults that you haven't made. | One thing about Symantec products is they work, if you just want a good anti-virus scanner that is simple to use and that is simple to keep up to date then this is the answer. The user interface if minimal, allowing you to scan your drives individually or all at once as well as manually running the update program. Other than installing it and letting it run a full system scan every now and then there is nothing to do, the software runs in the background; along with the auto updater. |

| I have used this for a couple of years now and rely on it for all my photo needs. It is truly a fantastic program. The cataloguing function enables you to find any photo within seconds. I have approx 16,000 photos in my computer and this program has them all tagged for instant retrieval. The editing functions enable you to do pretty much anything and would be all you could want unless you are a professional. Its worth getting a book to help with the more advanced functions if you want to experiment. |

| Lightroom 1 changed the way that I stored and managed my digital photographs. I looked forward to version 2 but it was a tremendous disappointment when it arrived. It responds poorly and my computer regularly freezes. The new tools - particularly the selective adjustment tools - are so unresponsive that they are practically unusable. There has been plenty of discussion about version 2 on the Adobe forum site and I urge any potential buyer to check out the current position before buying this software. Until Adobe sort this out I'm sticking with version 1. |

| Okay, i'm up to date with modern technology and a bit behind when it comes with virus protection, lets say not as experienced as some and probably one of the youngest to comment on a product. I currently am using Norton nternet Security and thought about buying this product. But one word of advice you should consider. At the start the sign up to "Norton" is free.
