| If you want to acheive fantastic results with your pictures, Photoshop Elements 6 is for you. At a fairly low price it has fantastic features for making banners, buttons, posters, collages and many more projects. It installed in no time and was easy to register. The only problem that I have is when going from my picture catalogue to the editor, it can take a little longer than expected, but it is still quite quick.
In two words - simply fantastic! |

| This is great value. I hesitated about purchasing partly because of the reviews, including the ones that say it steals the full screen. If you work in Full Edit mode it does NOT do this (or not on my MacBook at any rate) - the desktop is visible and accessible at the bottom of the screen behind the dock.
I also wondered whether I might end up paying nearly £100 for something that was not a lot better than iPhoto but much less functional than full Photoshop. In actual fact it is a significant ... Read More: |

| Photoshop CS3 is wonderful and a real joy to use. We were not naive enough to feel it could run on an older less powerful machine. We purchased a new PC especially to run Photoshop CS3, with a lot of memory and running XP Professional, and have hardly anything else running on this machine so that other software does not clutter things up etc.

| I have used this for a couple of years now and rely on it for all my photo needs. It is truly a fantastic program. The cataloguing function enables you to find any photo within seconds. I have approx 16,000 photos in my computer and this program has them all tagged for instant retrieval. The editing functions enable you to do pretty much anything and would be all you could want unless you are a professional. Its worth getting a book to help with the more advanced functions if you want to experiment. |

| Lightroom 1 changed the way that I stored and managed my digital photographs. I looked forward to version 2 but it was a tremendous disappointment when it arrived. It responds poorly and my computer regularly freezes. The new tools - particularly the selective adjustment tools - are so unresponsive that they are practically unusable. There has been plenty of discussion about version 2 on the Adobe forum site and I urge any potential buyer to check out the current position before buying this software. If you are a student why not buy it now. You can use if after you graduate in your work. Many employers these days insist that people have proper licences for software. |

| I can't praise this product enough. If you are looking to create state of the art websites with CSS, etc. then Dreamweaver is the software to own. All the hard coding is done for you well you use the design view to add anything you desire.
I have a lot to do to my sites yet but I managed to create and publish my very first webpage within 2 days of uploading the software to my computer. It downloaded on Windows Vista Home Premium within 10 minutes with no problems at all. Just a tip for beginners, check out YouTube ... Read More: |

| I purchased this after the "try before you buy", simply because I found it to be an excellent piece of software.
However, in my experience, to be certain of incident free use, I have disconnected my broadband connection, before stopping the Norton Antivirus. (I only stop the broadband for obvious reasons). It's a smart piece of software, which makes video editing a breeze, and gives great control over the imported clips. My advice - use the trial first, and if no issues occur, pay for the licence. |
