| My partner, a teacher, has just started at a new school. After being informed that the school uses Office 2007, she insisted that I purchase a copy for our home PC. | Used to use Kaspersky IS 7 after having years of crappy Norton slowing everything down.
KIS7 was so good I got all my family to upgrade to it from their Norton/McAfee leviathans and they've noticed the PC speed increase. Recently, my KIS7 subscription expired and so I upgraded to 2009. Happy to report that my PC is still very quick & no viruses have got through thanks to Kaspersky's almost hourly updates. Buy it & see the difference. |

| I have had a problem with my laptop since installing this software and have found Kaspersky's customer support unable to help.
After reading several positive reviews on Kaspersky Internet Security 2009, I bought and installed the software in my Toshiba laptop. | Slower than ever, clunkier, and a weird new menu system detract from this very expensive 'cheap' option.
We returned ours, installed Open Office - amazing value, faster on our installations of XP, more stable and a familiar environment. Where is Publisher? Why include PowerPoint in a home/student edition? Pointless, really. MS have shot themselves in the foot, it seems. |

| It looks good but not the same as before so there is some relearning required. But the biggest surprise of all is that it is frustratingly slow. I have iWorks but bought this because my wife kept saying that MS office was better, but even she now admits it's not.
Only buy this if you absolutely have to, or if you have more patience than me. |

| I installed Norton Internet Security 2008 on my DELL pc, which already had Norton 2004 installed. This latter program was due for a subscription renewal so I figured it would be cheaper to purchase and install the later version which must be an improvement mustn't it??? The installation appeared to go ok, but then it got stuck at the final "live update" stage. | True Image 11 is a first class piece of software. It performs perfectly in Windows Xp Pro. Everything I could have asked it did seamlessly and more. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this software. |

| The product is an absolute joke. And the Technical Support / Customer Service at Symantec is even worse.
1.) Upon Starting the PC I am greeted with multiple pop-ups - Virus Definitions Out of Date and Virus Scan Out of Date etc etc. On entering the software everything is ok..... 2.) The system seems to hang on the "one button check up" during the Norton Cleanup scan and then after 30 minutes will find files to clean up. Example found 763 then cleaned. Immediately ran again and found 1091, then cleaned (again). Immediately ... Read More: |
