| Having the need to source new software for new computer and upgrade others I searched the reviews on Amazon but was worried to see some not so very positive comments about the Home and Student edition. However need and positive past experience with MS Office products overcame concerns and I ordered it. The good news is I had nothing to worry about, it loaded perfectly and is running just fine. Powerpoint is there in its entirety.
One very happy customer and good value for money. |

It is a great refresher for anyone who may have passed their test many years ago, or for those that have passed, but still feel they need to know their road signs and highway code better. A first-time negative reviwer, and a previous admirer of the Microsoft Office stable, I have to register disgust at this particular Microsoft offering. It is misleading, and if you want a comprehensive product, you are going to have to spend a lot more. | This new version of Office has too many problems. In addition to the slow performance the lack of compatability with other versions (meaning settings have to be changed to save files in the old format) makes day to day operation a pain. Added to that network operation on classic Office files is very uncertain.
I have tried three service pack versions. The first one wouldn't open Excel XLS files through the network, then after the next service pack it did, after the next fix pack it didn't. Files seem to randomly ... Read More: |

| It's a definite buy for learner drivers as it has everything you need to practice and learn. The theory test in this program is very similar to the real exam, in terms of questions and the way you answer the multiple choice part of the exam. The hazard perception part of this software is also brilliant. It also uses a similar system to the one used in the official exam. Using this program I achieved 49/50 on the multiple choice part and 50/75 on the hazard perception section. I would highly recommend this program for learner drivers ... Read More: |

| I was fortunate enough to be lent this DVD and in conjunction with the Theory CD passed my theory test first time around. That said, I am learning to ride a motorcycle as an experienced driver. The DVD progressively explains Hazards with a gradual emphasis on differentiating static hazards from Developing ones (ie ones which absolutely force a driver/rider to change speed or direction). | My disc set came through today. I installed the theory test cd. Try to play it after installation. and it comes up with an error message telling me to use an origanal disk instead of a backup! what the hell! This is very disapointing. My pc has xp on it, and has all the right requirments so surely it would work, but no its a peice of crap |

| I passed my test before the theory test and suchlike were introduced, and passed my Advanced Driving test a year ago. I've always wondered what the new tests entailed and just how the various software packages are supposed to assist.
First of all, it does have an enormous amount of data within it, presented quite well. The description of the contents by the manufacturer gives an exhaustive list of what you will find within it. | Just to let you know that this is the best DVD on the market for the theory test. It is easy to use and is like having a virtual tutor. I am a driving instructor so have viewed loads of different DVD's. Just writing this really to advise you that the DSA question bank changes every September so all theory products prior to September 1st 2008 will be out of date by then. Any products you buy for the theory need to be 2008/2009. Not much will change but if you are paying top price then buy up to date stuff.
