| Well I have to agree with Hot Angel and say that the number of bad or indifferent reviews I've read for this album in the press do not do it justice. The new material is great, and the added production polish does not detract from the quality of the songs or the CSS sound. Ignore the naysayers - if you like CSS and the first album then buy this one too! |

| This album has been a long time coming on cd. A top 10 hit upon release its long been unavailiable and this massively expanded edition finally puts things right.
Blancmange were that particularily 80's phenomenon of the "synth duo". However unlike the likes of Soft Cell, Erasure and the Pet Shop Boys they were musical collaborators from day one. | While this is obviously tailored towards a stress filled society and is to be recommended for that, I personally enjoy the relaxing music `panpipes mellow moods' which I found by accident on amazon.co.uk The cd I possess from this site have a variety of stunning sounds tailored towards the relaxation market which I can recommend anyone who is searching into this particular genre. | This is a good CD with some catchy songs on it, but they can get a bit boring after a while.

| Great hooks, real passion, no holding back - sounds good so far! I'd never heard of the Gaslight Anthem until the other night, when I stumbled across them whilst band surfing. I was immediately grabbed by the title track, "The 59 SOund", which absolutely screams along. It's not alone; there aren't too many weak moments, and there is a huge amount of promise and power on display here.

| Anyone who claims to be a Coldplay fan and likes this album, clearly hasn't listened to 'Parachutes' or 'A Rush of Blood to the Head' two good strong albums, littered with really good songs like 'Yellow', 'Shiver', 'The Scientist', 'In My Place' etc... , whereas 'X & Y' has no good songs, the only half decent thing i liked about this album was one of the videos where an old lady is doing some acrobatic tricks. |
