| Having gotten fairly familiar with the album, then leaving it for a while to make sure it wasn't post-release enthusiasm, I can now honestly say that I believe this is the band's best effort since their debut. While every Slipknot album has its faults, even that oh-so-precious classic first assault, those on All Hope... are less immediately obvious, and certainly nowhere near as off-putting as they were on the previous two records. | I'm not denying the quality of the music which is 5 stars all the way. However, since his last album of original music 8 years ago there has now been 4 compilations, as well as his 4 main albums being re-released, thriller 25 last year etc. Enough is enough ! We want some new original music. |

| In term of success this album doesn't make it. I've seen the videos to 'Always right behind you' and 'What's you problem'. Always right behind you was average and what's your problem is a real let down. As for the music The Zutons sound like they didn't put much work into the lyrics or the tune for that matter. For example 'You could make the 4 wall cry' starts 'if the world was oblong shape then you would make it square' that doesn't sound like effort to me. |

| I am not one to use the word 'MASTERPIECE' freely. This is because these days, i feel most people overuse the word 'masterpiece' and i find this to be rather irritating. You know what i mean? Too many albums, films, etc are refered to as masterpieces when they are just ok or good. This album, however is NOT ok or good. It IS a masterpiece.

| For all its world-conquering success, ABBA Gold didn't really "rehabilitate" ABBA. The casual track sequencing and the choice of only the biggest hits means that a lot of good stuff was missed. The kitsch that dogged the early part of ABBA's career seems to be reinforced.

| I'm not going to get caught in the gushing gooey Sasha trap. I've listened to the album a few times now and can't quite sum it up. There are moments of genius (aren't there always with Sasha?), but I can't help feeling that this lacks some of the imagination of Involver. It needs some breaks, more lushness, more melancholy, more something.
That said, I've checked myself before it's too late.... my expectations of Sasha are probably higher than that of any other DJ. Here-in lies the problem. If anyone else had released this, ... Read More: |

| As a life long fan this was a must buy for me. I was't too interested in the CD (as like many i've got all the tracks a few times over) it was the DVD i wanted. Infact really this should really be called 'Messages - The OMD videos' with a audio CD thrown in for free. I've now replaced the ageing VHS tape and am delighted to have been able to that. For the newbie and excellent audio and visual combination to start you on your way! |
