| The album is easy to get into but in time I found that it was not a keeper and gave it to a friend. For me 1973 is by far the best of the tracks but towards the end of the album the music is a lot less memorable. |

| Difficult. Great guitar work but only in small doses for me because it is interspersed with insufferable interviews - Mayer undoubtedly has great talent but humility is not apparently one of his qualities. I generally prefer music DVDs to CDs but in this case it is the other way round. For a role model of a true guitar wizard who remains very humble and I would imagine very approachable look no further than Mr 335, Larry Carlton. |

| This is a great intro to new fans of Johnny Cash, a true icon whose music covered several generations.
When I first played it and the trumpets of Ring of Fire came on I wandered if I'd done the right thing ! The early tracks are pure 50s country, a complete contrast to the later U2/Depeche Mode covers/corroborations. There's something for everyone here but don't just buy it for the later stuff. | I caught Ida Maria live in London a few months back having no idea who she was and was very impressed with the gig. This album does capture their/her live feel to a degree and has a number of great catchy tunes with a few more less exciting numbers amongst them.
Musically its not rocket science - but I gather thats not the point. Great album for a first up - hope the catchy tunes keep on coming and the strained vocals continue........ |

| The Subways have come on top form yet again. Its the kind of album you listen to over and over for days on end. With rock tracks such as Girls and Boys, Shake! Shake! and Obsession to softer tunes like Move To Newlyn and my personal favourite Lost Boy you will no doubt love this album. Lets hope The Subways stick aournd for a long time. |

| I have to agree with the writer of the 1-star review that the actress who plays Elphaba on Broadway (and is featured on the cd) definitely has a disappointing voice compared to the West End actress. However, I do think that the actors playing Glinda and the Wizard, in contrast, have a better voice on Broadway, compensating a little for Elpahaba. I really do hope that a West End version of this cd will become available at some point. |
