| Just recently listened to the album and its got a sound you will respect because your a Metallica fan of course....So So pleased the snare drum has had its ajustments made to it. to me stand out tracks are "The Day that never Comes" and "The Judas Kiss". Seriously my arms with raised with The Judas Kiss, jumping around like a loony. on my 3rd listen in a row..... stock. Thanks for the music lads. worthy buy for new and old fans. |

| Not had a lot of chance to listen to this, 2 things come to mind though;
There is a definite Slayer feel to the songs, in the riffs and rhythm patterns but that's always been the case. Also the production is way better than Vol3 - the snare drum is fuller, the bass drum is less clicky and the guitars are fuller. (I personally prefer the production on the first 2 albums than Subliminal Verses). Sorry, I can't be more detailed, but I'm snowed under with stuff at the moment! ... Read More: |

| Finally. After all these years of mild disappointments we have a new Metallica album worthy of the name.
First impressions track by track (because I'm that sad)... "That was just your life" starts with a slow heartbeat then builds until by about 1 min 30 we're on our way. | Chad Kroeger is a song writing genious. Not, of course, for ANY of the right reasons, but because he has a truly remarkable ability to churn out some of the most pathetic songs ever recorded and still sell millions of records. For this he deserves credit - in the same way Hitler deserves credit for tricking Europe into allowing him to rise to power.

| I have just got the box set recently, and have been enjoying it greatly. Not just that, my three daughters aged 9, 6 and 2 are great fans, and want to listen to it all the time in the car. And the two-year-old even says 'Rock' once she hears the first few bars of 'We will rock you'. Just goes on to show that Queen truly made ageless music, which still scores far above most contemporary music. |

| So, here we go with studio album number 24 from the legendary Motorhead, a band whose status is assured, and who have reached that point in their career where they are almost beyond criticism. Now, as a fully paid up Motorheadbanger, I'm not going to be the one to start, but this is the third album in a row after Inferno and Kiss Of Death where the band has gone into the studio to be produced by Cameron Webb, and it's virtually interchangeable with them. | In my personal opinion it's better than the previous album and the bonus tracks dont let down the album.
some of the long ongoing riffs by herman melt your mind and will leave you knowing you've got a good buy. A track you have to listen to is call "reasons to live" starts really heavy and such a well put together track. If you would like a taster of the album go on youtube or what ever and check the song "heroes of our time". |
