| I have Amazon to thank for bringing Elbow to my attention many years ago. I bought some CD or other and they did their cheeky "if you like that, you might like this ..." and recommended Elbow's debut album Asleep in the Back. I did something I have never done before or since and bought the CD without hearing a note just because I liked their name. And I loved the CD. | This is an outstanding album from a true bluesman. Major record company involvement has not dented his ability to produce searing blues with a wonderful sincerity and his usual humility. Delta style blues at its best. |

| I first heard Duffy on a long car journey on a friend's mixtape, the track was Rockferry. My friend skipped the track in impatient disgust, which drove me mad! I'm usually into my alternative stuff but I like a bit of everything in my collection, so I have something to listen to for every mood. I love this album because it's feminine, heartfelt, sweet and singable. I'm not mad on the last three tracks but they're by no means awful, I just prefer the others. | I loved Cold Play's two first albums, I feel like I could get absorbed in them and never skip a track.
I have listened to this new album about 10 times and I just don't feel the same way about this album. When listening to this album I honestly say I enjoy about 3 of the songs, the rest well I really don't. |

| Being from an older generation I was not a Verve fan but aware of some of their music. I came in sideways via Music is the Power (single) being played on the radio. I thought I might buy it, my daughter said I wouldn't like Ashcroft as too miserable for me. Still, bought single enjoyed, bought album 'Keys' boy was she right. Got a copy of Urban Hymns enjoyed most, Human Conditions enjoyed every other. Bought Forth and have enjoyed it all. | What a great album! By far and away their best, before they succumbed to Coldplay-type anthems on Seldom Seen Kid. Every track a winner, but "Very best" is well titled. Enjoy! Anyone that can get Stockport Supporters Club into the lyrics of a ballad is alright by me!! |

| I bought this album off the back of a couple of songs I'd heard here and there. For maybe the first few listens I was thinking that actually those few songs I'd heard were the only really excellent tracks on there - the rest being ok, but nothing special.
Listen on tho! Really worth it - some bits are growers, but now I am completely in love with this album! |

| I came to "Fleet Foxes" following a chance hearing at a second hand book and record store. Taking the plunge into unknown territory proved wonderfully rewarding, as this must easily be one of the finest albums of the past few years.
