| like so many i did not like this when i first listened, but i love the band so left it for a week and tried again. been doing this for the past month and now really rate this album. don't expect some of their hypnotically greats of previous albums but do expect great music that will easily stand the test of time. |

| Anyone who claims to be a Coldplay fan and likes this album, clearly hasn't listened to 'Parachutes' or 'A Rush of Blood to the Head' two good strong albums, littered with really good songs like 'Yellow', 'Shiver', 'The Scientist', 'In My Place' etc... , whereas 'X & Y' has no good songs, the only half decent thing i liked about this album was one of the videos where an old lady is doing some acrobatic tricks. |

| Parachutes is still my favourit album from Coldplay. This album contributed to coldplays success with great songs Shivers, Yellow, High Speed, Everythings not lost. What can I say one of the best English bands ever. |

| This is the album the band wants to be remembered by and it looks like they have achieved just that.
The opening song ,Life in Technicolour has a great melody and no lyrics. you can notice the hand of Brian Eno who produced it ,is an innovative song hintting of a new direction in the band's style. It sounds like a fragment from Joshua tree. Cemeteries of London is the best track in the album and will remind you of parachutes, this is when coldplay are at its best and the voice of Chris Martin suits the music ... Read More: |

| There's not much to say.. If i had one reason to recommend this ep it would be for See You Soon. It is definitely the highlight on the cd - a beautiful song and an early glimpse at the talent of this fab 4-piece. It is also good to know that High Speed first featured on this; one of the better songs on parachutes. Also, the version of Don't Panic here sounds less engineered than the album version, so its up to you which one you prefer.
