| My mum bought her Kenwood mixer when I was 14. I inherited it when she died and I eventually ditched it last year - it was getting very noisy - but still worked very well. I am now 60 and I am about to buy a new one but I expect it will outlast me !

| Have any of you owners tried your machine on hard floors? I emailed Vax and they say it's suitable, but I have a large slate floor which is naturally uneven. I'm a bit worried the machine won't be up to it, though it seems great from the reviews generally, and the carpet washing sounds popular! I just want to get the right tool...not sure whether to go for one of these or a scrubber-drier (more of a commercial thing?) |

| I bought this Dyson in 2001 and paid about £220. It has been fairly reliable during this time but considering that it is only used on average once a week for half an hour does not equate to an awful lot of use.
When I first purchased the machine I was very impressed with its cleaning abilities. The amount of dust that it picks up is staggering, I thought my carpets were clean until I saw what was in the dust container. | I was not sure about breadmakers until I saw a report in Which? magazine featuring them. Not only did it reckon that a large loaf cost little more than 50p, but that it also tasted much better. This being one of the recommended models I decided to give it a try.

| Thought this was brilliant to start off. Got problems just two weeks in. Telephoned Home Tek help and they suggested there was an air bubble inside which was preventing steam coming out. Suggested I bang the mop onto the floor. This became a requirement every week and eventually, after just 8 weeks, my poor mop died. Back to the old bucket and mop... |

| We have had this for about a month now. Great jug - water filters through fast, the jug fits in the fridge perfectly, nice pourer, sturdy and perfectly sized - any larger capacity and it would be too heavy for me when full. The water tastes great - I remember the old original Brita filter we had making the water taste horrid with a tinge of carbon, but the new filters make a HUGE difference, the water now tastes lovely. |

I read some of the comments made by people who were not happy and I was alittle concerned about purchasing this item. However, I did and I used it for the first time today. What can I say, it heated up fast and it cooked the steak perfect and the vegs too. I dont know what the other people wanted but dont listen to them.
