| Guys/Gals... my advice is to watch/buy something else ...
If you want guaranteed boredom then fine... ok well there were a few amusing bits but not many All i can say is thank goodness DVD players have a timer that enables you to count down towards the end of a DVD. | I was very excited about this film and thought I would enjoy it greatly but sadly if falls way short of the mark.
Henry and Anne are portrayed very badly, not at all like the popular portrayals. This is the only film I have seen on the romance of Henry and Anne which actually shows and makes a credible mention of the incest between Anne and her brother. I didn't believe the story at all, very disappointing overall although the costumes and scenes are lovely. |

| I watched all of ITV's 2007 season of Austen adaptations and this one stood out from the very indifferent others in that season by a long mile, primarily because of the performances from the lead actors. I bought it, watched it again, loved it again and then came here to see what others thought of it only to find that the consensus was generally in favour of the 1995 Ciaran Hinds / Amanda Root version, which I had not seen.

| We took our 21mth old to see the premiere of this film on the weekend.
He was mesmorised! The film is one hour long episode broken up by songs - it kept our toddler entertained! It has a great story line for the older kids. The remix of the Thomas song at the end is awesome! Would recommend this for any avid Thomas fan - would make a great christmas present! |

| I own every season on DVD, and can't wait to own this one. It gets better and better every season. I cannot think of one bad episode. If you have not seen it, then I recommend seeing the first season through to 3 first so you get to know the housewives and get to know their lives.
