| The Wire revolves around a police investigation of drug dealers in Baltimore using a wire tap; doesn't sound thrilling does it? Shows like The Shield would have burnt through this story arc (and about 46 bodies) in maybe 3 episodes. The problem is though, that with that fast and loose approach you never really care all that much about the characters, it almost becomes like watching a horror movie just guessing who's going to get bumped off next.

| Its a bit like a mix of Harry Potter and Pirates of the Carribean. In parts it lacks the essence to make it into a very good movie, good special effects, but special effect don't make a great movie if the story is poor in places. |

| The storyline was lacking a lot after the first, but I found the dancing and the rawness of this film a lot better than the first. It seems a lot less polished than the first (Perhaps due to style of dance), but nethertheless it's a good film. The dance scene at the end was truly something and much better than anything in Step Up.
Overall, Storyline, a lot more basic than first but dance scenes a lot better than first (In my Opinion). Check it out! |

| Pro: story, characters, special effects
Con: It had the creepy, sinister, feeling of a horror movie. The kids in the movie throw tomato ketchup 'bombs' at the monsters to kill them. By the end of the movie the walls of the house looked like they were dripping with blood. Also didn't like the way the main boy stabbed his 'father'...I know it was the monster in disguise but I felt it was a very jarring and overly graphic image. |

| This modern attempt at adapting this classic book into film is not a good one. When compared to other classic book-to-film adaptations of classic fanatasy (ie. Lord of the Rings and Stardust) this falls well short of standard set by previous fantasy movies. In contrast, Narnia appears cheap with inferior acting, poor casting, bad direction, cheap looking sets and generally poorly produced.

| A slow burner. Beautifully shot. Powerful acting all round by the main characters. I enjoyed this film even though it is quite long. But there is plenty of action as well as the slow parts. Not impressed by the cardboard box that the dvds come in though. |

| The first of the 3 Neo Westerns of 2007 is a dark and brutal tribute to both the Western and thriller. | I have recently discovered modern British comedy, and I am a HUGE fan of comedies like Shameless, Phoenix Nights, Max and Paddy's road to nowhere, Extras and The office. This comedy was recommended to me based on my opinion on Shameless, which I think is the best TV-show ever. However, "Gavin and Stacey" doesn't even get close to any of the shows mentioned. To me, it seems "stiff", very "acted" and WAAY to sweet. | The Beast With a Billion Backs is an improvement on the already high standards of Bender's Big Score. Its plot and pacing are better suited to the feature-length format, and its romantic theme draws on the most touching elements of the television series. The dynamic between Fry and Leela is what makes Futurama more than a sci-fi spoof and remains an insistent argument for the continuation of the phenomenon.
