Putting a title like `Worlds Greatest' on the front of a CD is obviously a bold claim, and one which many people have become so familiar with that they tend to take it with a pinch of salt. There are so many ways of trying to catch the buyers interest that very few titles like these really jump out at the buyer. | I approached this CD with caution given the hype that has surrounded recent appearances of both singers. I must confess that contrary to my expectations I was deeply moved by the singing here which recalls other great operatic couples of the past, Callas and di Stefano, Tebaldi and del Monaco. The recording has rarely been far from my CD player for the past two weeks.

| i too am a fan of nigel kennedy , but this recording doesnt do anything for me though as ever it is exceptionaly well played...but the combination of "modern" bits in among the classical music only distracts me..i like one or the other but if you are more adventurous than me,i highly recomend it! |

| Yes I agree with ralphdogmusiclover's review above, don't let the dodgy recordings this band did in the 80's put you off. This is a superb reggae album. Often dismissed by reggae snobs as middle class reggae due to the privileged background of the band. This early Third World album is a gem. Slick production, sing along lyrics, and the whole album flows like a well thought out sound scape with excellent musician-man-ship.
