| The content here is a great: it's a fairly wide-ranging and sensible book on the subject. However the edition I have is of the most appalling quality: printed on flimsy, poor quality paper, with the illustrative and photographic reproductions so dire that they look like low quality photocopies, giving the book the look of something produced by amateurs, which is a big shame, as it's at odds with the actual content. | I bought this when I embarked on a new relationship, having been in one that was almost asexual for 8 years. It was easy to read - not patronising or coy like a couple of books I've read. It is also an attractive book. Nice layout, beautiful photographs. I found it honest and helpful. For anyone who doesn't have a lot of experience - or who would like some clarification on some aspects of sex - I'd say it would be helpful. |

| Unsurprisingly, this is very frank and graphic in detail, but it's not really what I would describe as pornographic, despite the language used (yes, there are "unsavoury" euphemisms that perhaps aren't considered polite in company). | I read this book and found it to answer numerous questions about the health aspects of sexuality and it gave good views on the various types of sexuality in societies. Although, despite it being written by a psychiatrist and the book having been around for thirty years, I found it to be somewhat misleading on its target reader. At some points in the book it is unclear if it is addressing men or women. This is a significant flaw. |

| I just wanted to say I loved the book and am extremely jealous of all Ashley's travels (not so much the pain elements or run ins with the law) but everything else seemed crackas.
I bought the book a few weeks ago to read while I was on my hols. I had seen the poster in the window of my local Waterstones I then spent my holiday a tad pissed off after reading the book in two days and realising it was the Wednesday that Mr Hames was at said Waterstones and I wasn't even in the country nevermind the city. | I have always been a huge fan of Tracey Cox's work and think she has excelled herself with superhotsex. It's well written, funny and she encourages us to push ourselves out of our sexual comfort zones to keep sex fresh long-term. And guess what? Like all her suggestions and advice, it works! I thought the other books were good but now i think this is my favourite! |
