| This is a great CD. First side is Louise talking the affirmations and the other side is subliminal with music. I enjoyed it all and I play it every night before I go to bed. It has made a significant difference as I am more positive and confident within myself than I have ever been in a long time. I am looking forward to trying out some of Louises other cds. You won't be disappointed with your purchase so enjoy!! |

| Actually when i first opened it, i found it fascinating. The ideas behind it are great (even though it doesn't always work for everything) but soon it goes on and on, round and round the same thing. It's not a big book already, i think it should be even shorter and to the point and could tell a bit about the controversial issues that it takes to: STOP THINKING ABOUT EVERYTHING... Still, i think it's a great book! |

| This book is an alleged christian book because it twists the scriptures and goes against what the word of God says. In my opinion this is not christian at all, but written from someone who I identify with cult practices. How come so many churches use this book when it goes against so many christian values and scriptures?? Do the christians that read this book read the bible? | This was an inspiring read. The Four Agreements are beautiful, fresh, and uplifting concepts that one can easily integrate immediately. Ruiz believes we need not stay addicted to beliefs that limit us, nor should we strive for perfection, but always do our best. While reading this profound yet simple book, I recognized beliefs I had adopted since childhood that were based in fear, not in reality. Being free of these limiting ideas allows me to live fully and joyously in the present.

| Anthony De Mello was a gifted writer, and a charismatic teacher but his books certainly aren't in line with a lot of Catholic teaching, which was why concerns have been expressed by the Holy Catholic Church about his writings. Officially we are told to read with 'discernment'. I would advise Catholic readers to take notice of this official advice from the Vatican. |

| I quite enjoyed this book. There are some genuinely useful ideas in it (although for the most part it does feel a bit 'old economy' - think 'How to succeed in a large british corporation in the late 80s' and you'll be on the right lines).
It's also a bit depressing on its own - probably best read in conjuction with the Rules of Life, which may actually make you happier, rather than simply making you a man/woman with a nice suit, big salary and a lovely office who's sold his/her soul to get there! |

| I read, and absolutely loved, 'The Game' by the same author, Neil Strauss so I was looking forward to reading his second book, The Rules of The Game. Overall I would say that I enjoyed the book, and would recomend it, however there were some flaws, and it definitely wasn't as good as The Game.
Strauss attempts to deliver a one size fits all dating remedy for men across the world and the result is quite hit and miss. Some of the 'missions' that the book adivises one to attempt are pretty pointless, and will not be relevant for a lot ... Read More: |
