| I for one loved this book and it gives a very clear insight into what is needed to convict these scum that are in our and everyones society, I for one thank people like Paul Britton and am Glad he is there.
In reference to Stagg, yes it is regrettable that an innocent man went to jail but even a layperson can see the how he could be the killer. | I had to write a book review on this particular book and to be honest found it a very difficult read at first. However, i persevered and by reading round and other commentators on Goffmans work I have found it to be insightful in how I now look at individuals - he is right - we are all actors - THE DRAMATURGICAL SELF:

| This is an excellent book in the American style with very good layout and illustrations and it is easily read but is expensive for a paperback. My main reservation about this book is that there seems to be an underlying bias towards the feminist-type view of child development which the reader needs to be aware of. Dr. Bill Cochrane |

It's a shame that this book hasn't found a wider audience. I have seen this book positioned in book shops as a 'business' book. But it's actually a book that is appropriate for absolutely anyone who wants to know how to create more compelling messages.
