| Colin Cooper was one of my lecturers at Queen's University Belfast. He is a brilliant man (and a very nice one to boot!).
This book provides an excellent introduction to Individual Differences - it is written in an accessible style, and all assertions are backed-up by scientific research. I warmly recommend this text to anyone seeking to further their knowledge in this fascinating area of psychology. |

| I'm using a version of this book which has a different cover to the one advertised, so hopefully this means that there is a new version of this book, which has fixed all the errors mentioned in other reviews. But, while this book is good for practicing higher level questions, many of the solutions are at best dubious, or at worst blatantly wrong/contradictory - which make it very confusing to use. I've used other similar publications and not been aware of such poor accuracy. Not to be recommended. |

| I have to say i am extremely impressed with this book, unlike other memory books it summarises every essential memory technique into a quick, easy read manual, u may even say it cuts the crap and gets down to it! after doing some of the exercises i was literally like, "WOW"

| I had to read this book before attending an assertiveness course at work run by the author

| I had a mental health placement in the second year of my social work degree and knew nothing about mental health issues or services. This book almost single headedly got me through the placement and definatly improved my work with the service users. This book was also on the essential reading list for the third year of my degree at Northumbria University and was well deserving of it's place. | I for one loved this book and it gives a very clear insight into what is needed to convict these scum that are in our and everyones society, I for one thank people like Paul Britton and am Glad he is there.
In reference to Stagg, yes it is regrettable that an innocent man went to jail but even a layperson can see the how he could be the killer. Britton gives advice to the court if the Judge or jury agrees than that is that. If I was on the Jury I would of convicted him but does that make Britton a fraud? No of course ... Read More: |

| I did not find this book helpful at all.
The book does not contain "an approach / technique" to raising your self-esteem. It is purely about case studies. Listening to people's stories does not help raise self-esteem. There are better books on self-esteem. I would not recommend this book. |
