| At first, I just wondered why cats appear in this book because I wasn't quite sure what cats had to do with Asperger Syndrome. But, on second thought, Kathy Hoopmann might help parents with AS kids increase their understanding. Even adults with AS are sure to see what AS is like because she illustrated AS not only by words but pictures! We can't put down this book just because it's for kids only!
If possible, I'd have liked her to explain in advance why she associated cats with AS. |

| This is really a great guide to keeping fit for moms to be. I know I've been really tired due to my pregnancy, but there wasn't anything in here I couldn't do. I would defintely recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in shape durning pregnancy. Another pregnancy book I quite liked and would also recommend is "You Know You're Pregnant When...Reflections".

| I thought this book was okay particularly for very first weaning/ purees but was a bit disappointing over all. I got another book by Sara Lewis which was much better for baby meal ideas and practical advices. I did like the way this books tells you what nutrients are in the recipes however. |

| I may have misread the title but this book is only useful prior to becoming a first-time parent and up until about four weeks old. After that, none of the revelations regarding communication will have meaning, well unless you chose not to interact with your newborn.
With a twelve week old, this book only served to confirm what I already knew, which was assuring if anything. In my opinion, it would benefit from photos of fussing, quiet active, tired and bored expressions of 6-10 week olds. And did this ... Read More: |

| This book was a real God-send when my baby was born. I think that it is written in a very pragmatic and realistic manner and is simple to work with. I was nearly put off by the lack of glossy pictures but after dipping into it many a time I realised that what mattered was good content rather than expensive photography. I have recommended this to all my friends expecting babies and plan to use it next time round. One of the most valuable books I had during the early months. | I am a huge Annabel Karmel fan and after her Favourite Family Meals book, this comes second. I use this book for inspiration constantly. Our favourites are the paella, the prawn korma, the Singapore noodles and the meatball recipes. I also do a lot of baking and find Annabel Karmel's cake/ biscuit recipes to be the most delicious all around. I don't just use this book "after school" for my two children, it is used for the whole family and even for the odd dinner party. | I was given this book as a present, as we have recently started weening. The recipes are healthy and easy to follow as well as being totally suitable for the whole family, even the recipes for the six month olds (although perhaps before it is pureed!)
This is making life so much easier not having to cook several different meals! The recipes cover food for all different occasions snacks, main meals even party food.. Gina has most things covered here... |

I couldn't agree more with these two reviews on this item - this is a blank baby book for parents to fill in, with photos and text, as their baby develops over those precious first 12 months. | My 5 month old daughter was really poorly one night and I rang an old friend (mother of two) for advice, she used this book as a reference and said it had always proved useful with her children.
