| Most of the pictures shown in this book remind me of my childhood! I was completely unaware of Asperger Syndrome in those days, though. Especially, the one on p.18, which seems to indicate the similar experiences in my 1st and 2nd elementary school days. | I cannot recommend this highly enough - it is the only book I have needed with my baby. It is practical and covers a huge range of topics in a simple and easy to read format. It is sensitively written and well balanced on subjects such as bottle or breastfeeding. It is full of excellent advice and facts so it can be used as a fantastic reference tool. |

| I was given this book by a friend as she told me it was fantastic, granted it did make me laugh out loud and I never actually thought I would ever feel sorry for Jamie oliver but that guy is a saint putting up with a fruit loop like his wife!

| I was given this book by a friend and can honestly say I so pleased that they gave it to me. You can skip sections and come back to areas that you are unsure of. It has questions by people in the same situation and answers them clearly.

| I bought this book while I was pregnant. I didn't want to believe that birth was an inherently painful process and I wanted to read more about it.
This was written a while ago, but everything in it still holds true. Grantly explains how society always portrays giving birth as a terrible and painful experience, but that the real thing does not have to be that way, providing that women are educated about the birth process and learn techniques for relaxation. | Although this book might hold lots of things 'you could have thought of yourself', you don't always have the time or energy to get that grey matter working again when you have one or more little ones. This is therefore a great book you can just pick up and find an idea.If you need anything to 'play the game' you will more than not already have it in your home. Ideas incorporate rainy play indoors as well as ideas outdoors and includes creative stuff as well as physical play. Also, it has some great recipes for doughs etc. |

| This is a necessity for every parent starting potty training for their toddles. It is very flexible because it gives the parent many options. I used it for my 2 year old daughter and I lent it to my sister to use it for her daughter too. The author stresses two main points which I always remember whenever my daughter makes accidents: patience and encouragement. This book can be used again and again for all your children. I am saving it now for my newborn baby boy. |

| I thought this was a good book - VERY easy to read and worked it's way through the chapters well. It certainly helped set the foundations for the early days of parenthood, although I don't feel it's the kind of book that I'll have lying around to use as a reference tool once the bundle of joy arrives. It has definitely made me feel a lot calmer about the whole thing and I'd recommend it to anybody as an excellent starting point. |
