| Excellent book, with an introduction on each meat type on the things to look out for, how the animals are kept and what impact that has on flavour, plus schemes of the cuts. There are loads of recipes in the book, from all over the world and the ones we have tried were delicious. There are also sections on goat and kid meat and veal (pink, organic veal that is) that are rarely to be found in other cookery books. There is also a section on cooking for a crowd which seems a brilliant idea. |

| My favourite quote from the book "[Jo has] money, glamour, great connections...". Oh dear.
It starts off in a friendly way and I was drawn in, thinking actually this might be an approchable, easy to read guide to what I should and shouldn't be looking for in skin care and cosmetics. | At first I thought this book was brilliant but actually it's got incorrect information in it which could be a danger to your child and I couldn't trust it!!
In the 4-7 month category it has recipes for oats and meat. If you're weaning your child before 6 months you should know that you cannot give meat to them and only gluten free oats, which it doesn't mention. I wouldn't trust this book and will not be using it. Unfortunately I didn't get to look at it until it was too late to return. |
