| It's about time! After a deluge of tepid, psycho-babble tomes, along comes a cogent, refreshing slab of common sense. I was beginning to think it was just me getting cantankerous at 36. It's like having a wise, eccentric auntie tell you what you already-suspect-you-might-be-starting-to-almost-realise; but kicking you up the arse as she does it!

| I was really looking forward to reading this book for inspiration to pursue a healthier lifestyle. The book's "inspiration" amounted to a lot of swearing- obviously covering up the authors' lack of appropriate vocabulary. It comes across as crass and ill-informed.
Also, many of their "scientific claims" are completely false, and they cite inadequate sources for these outrageous claims. If the reader has a basic education in biology, he/she will recognize the false claims and the poor attempts to cover them up ... Read More: |

| Honestly, don't waste your money on this book. You can find more than what you can find in here through an internet search on google and it's easier to find as well. The first four foods I looked for in here, I couldn't find any of them. What's more, the nutrient information for thousands of foods in the UK is freely available for download from the Food Standards agency. It's called the Composition of Foods Integrated Dataset. | I have not read this book but I am already giving it 5 stars because I have always recited the typical blokes mantra 'why can't women just tell us what they want instead of leaving us guessing?'. Recently, since 'the game', there has been a surge of pickup books, all written by men. It's not like these books are against women either, it's making men more appealing and elligible to them. | I first suffered anxiety and depression in my early twenties but didn't discover this book until I was almost 30. Like many other reviewers here it helped to change my life and I cried tears of relief like a few others when I first read it; it was amazing to me that millions of others had felt this way too.
