| I used this book a lot for the first year of dental school, and I found that it goes into the right amount of depth needed for the histology part of the course. I tried Wheaters, and also the images are better than Stevens and Lowe, the content is somewhat sparing and if does not go into enough detail for a pbl based course. |

| I was hugely disappointed with this book - particularly with the photography of the finished dishes - it's redolent of the quality you'd find in a 1970's cookbook - the food looks totally unappetising.
I love cookery books and looked forward to this arriving but can honestly say I'll be lucky to use 2-3 recipes if that. Uninspiring with an over reliance on a few ingredients. Sorry, but wouldn't recommend this to anyone who really enjoys cooking. |

| I bought and read this after seeing it mentioned on an NCT website and reading the recommendations here. It was the best thing I did in preparing for giving birth. It gave me confidence to look forward to labour without any fear. I had a very quick and straightforward delivery. I can't claim that it was all due to the impact of reading this book, but I am convinced that going into labour feeling excited rather than fearful was very beneficial. | I used this book as a student and it helped me familiarise myself with basic ECG interpretation to a level acceptable for a student, but to move forward takes experience on the wards seeing real ECGs of real patients. A good starting point but by no means comprehensive. I understood the cardiac axis better before I read this book, but maybe that's just me. |

| I recently qualified as a CSI and this book was reccommended, having had a chance to quickly view its contents prior to purchase. The book delivers excellent detail and will be used for reference or indeed as background reading to anyone interested in a career in this field. |

| These cards contain clear images on one side with arrows and numbers pointing at muscles / nerves / bones ect. The answers are then on the back so you can test yourself. They probably will not cover enough detail for most courses so you'll need you textbook as well. The website you can access with them is good as it is pretty much a digital version of the cards and probably easier as you can reveal answers one at a time. On the cards you sometimes can't help looking at the next answer which can be annoying and defeats the purpose of the cards! |
