| I teach the ITEC A&P qualification and know only too well how difficult it is to find a text book written at the level required to support the course and syllabus (A level).
I have used the Louise Tucker book for the last four years but it lacks decent illustrations and contains a shocking number of mistakes, even after a trillion editions - its biggest critism. | This book is must-have text for student midwives. It is clear and unambiguous and explains the changes that occur in pregnancy in relation to normality. | I used this book for finals.It's a fantastic introduction to surgery (as it assumes very little knowledge), and a great revision guide for finals (since it's orientated to exams right from the start) there's also a strong focus on what you need to know (including those rarities that are commonly asked about) and how to present information in a clinical exam. | This book has been used by ambulance staff for the past 20 years and is still a fine beginers book to anatomy and some physiology. Probably the Foundation Degree and BSc Paramedic would probably prefer a little more depth. Typical A&P books that are used by paramedics would be Totora, McHance, Matteli, and others. |

| This is the second time I have bought this book. I lent it to a friend and never got it back. I have found it invaluable for my MSc and my friend found it a great help for her BSc (obviously!). I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to be able to critically appraise medical literature. |

| If you've just been diagnosed check out other books BEFORE you buy this one. This is a great book but it's quite complex and off-putting by the sheer size alone.
There are 3 parts to the book (with 12 chapters in total): nutritional healing for PCOS, tackling your problems and prepare for success. Whilst it is a great book my life wouldn't have been missing anything if I hadn't have bought it.
