| this is a great, well organised textbook... a very good aid to learning. the only problem is, there's a factual mistake on every other page! all anatomy textbooks have mistakes, due to rushing the books through editing, but gray's is especially bad! make sure you buy another book if you want to gain a more accurate knowledge and read about topics from a number of different authors |

| I was lent this book by my CPN not long after I was first diagnosed with quite severe depression in August 2007 & it soon became something of a crutch for me - I had to order a copy for myself so her other patients could benefit from her copy. I agree that, initally at least, it probably wouldn't work on its own but in conjunction with therapy and/or medication it is a great book. | I have found this textbook really helpful in my studies. The full audio version on the CDROM, is great for remembering all the muscles and other difficult body parts all my class mates struggled on.
I would say if you are studying Anatomy and Physiology as part of your course, get this book. |

| My husband a dentist bought this book in 1994/5 the second edition and I use it now (he only coloured in the head) I am studying medicine and this book is awesome, the reason being I have a pictorial memory and by learning by colouring it has helped tremendously, in addition it is great when you are running out of time and the table at the back is invaluable giving you a breakdown of the muscle and the nerve supply and root value, I would definitely recommend getting this book for any medical student, I used ... When compared to the OHCM, however, improvements to the layout of some of the text needs improving. | I discovered this book after reading a book on how the 'Milton Model' can be used in NLP. Although perhaps primarily aimed at therapists, I found the stories very readable and along with the commentaries, perfect examples of the power of language. It seems to me that Milton Erikson had a phenomenal insight into human behaviour and much can be learned from these, 'teaching tales.' |
