| If approached in the right spirit, this book is both fun and inspiring. One should never treat these lists like diktats but rather suggestions. Garcia has a good eye, although some of her suggestions, i.e. the ll bean bag, seem better suited to an American audience. That said, it is a great way to think about fashion and one's closet. It inspired me to junk a few pieces and keep a few old favourites.

| I decided to try out this book after gaining 2 and a half stones over several years.Having never dieted before, I wasn't sure how to go about it, but didn't want to crash diet or begin a faddy,unhealthy diet.
I ordered this book in January and it has been invaluable. It sets out the principles of the GI hip and thigh diet - low fat, low calories, high GI eating, and is very easy to follow. | This book is excellent. It is very easy to read and each chapter is easily accessable. I liked the way the chapters were put together, with each relevant blocks of information. | In all honesty I bought this book after reading a newspaper article about the TV show Sex and the City where this book was quoted from. I really enjoyed the SATC episode that coined the phrase "He's just not that into you" and wanted to see what else the writer had to say on the subject.
I have read some of the reviews and I agree with some of the people that state this is not the "Bible" on relationships and does not really cover those more serious and involved relationships, but's it not a one ... Read More: |

| I must say I was disappointed with this book. I thought it was going to be better. There isn't actually that many 'recipes' and what there is isn't too exciting anyway. My daughter likes one or two of them, but unfortunately it's just not a great book. |

| I feel compelled to comment about this excellent recipe book aimed specifically at babies, toddlers and children. It is the best book of its kind out there and has been an absolute lifesaver. My 1 year old doesn't like food much... in fact he only started eating at 9 months. I tried all sorts of food, bought and otherwise. Quite simply, the most success I have had is with recipes from this book. I currently have one in the oven and one on the stove as I'm typing. I really love the format too.
