| Highly amusing little book - written in all seriousness in 1913 but very Cholmondley-Warner-esque in its outdated attitudes. This book is going to provide some gems for some light-hearted ribbing in my groom's speech when I get married shortly. |

I couldn't agree more with these two reviews on this item - this is a blank baby book for parents to fill in, with photos and text, as their baby develops over those precious first 12 months. | I bought this book for my increasingly curious 9 year-old daughter. We've been answering questions for quite some time now, always very matter-of-factly and truthfully, but she has also been picking up some information from the school playground - some right, some way off! So we decided now was the time to move onwards and upwards from our previous book (the excellent "Body Book" by Claire Rayner - perfect for younger children).

| I was given this book as a present, as we have recently started weening. The recipes are healthy and easy to follow as well as being totally suitable for the whole family, even the recipes for the six month olds (although perhaps before it is pureed!)
This is making life so much easier not having to cook several different meals! The recipes cover food for all different occasions snacks, main meals even party food.. Gina has most things covered here... |

| I believe one of the other reviewers referred to this book as one of those "american self help books." I am cautious with such books mostly since despite being a native english speaker, I tend to notice signficant cultural differences when reading them (as a European). This can tend to make the reading experience not so satisfying.

| This is an amazing book. It's not on the Danish market, neither is it translated. My wife and I has made a sort of parallel import - buying books on amazon and passing them on to our friends who make babies. We are now on our 15th order or so :O) |

| I totally agree with the other positive reviews: it's a great book and I cannot recommend it enough to all parents, carers or even people in general, because the emphasis on connection and playfulness is important in any type of relationship - though of course the subject here is parenting. I've seen books about parenting which use some spiritual vocabulary such as inner light and soul, which rather puts me off.
