| I bought this copy after reading the previous version from the library and who knew oils were so interesting? I was particularly interested in their use for skin care and for this I must say I preferred the older edition which contained recipes. presumably , since Ms earle sells her products these days she did not feel the need to include them this time. There was also a much expanded section on essential oils but I have other dedicated books on this subject. A good introduction overall though. |

| I have been a 'fan' of EFT for a while now, and have sought to explain the tehnique to friends. This book is a great help. The technique is explained and detailed instructions are given. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in EFT for self-help, and as a guide for introducing others to the technique. |

| Wow, quite a spetacular book! Written with such understanding and with such indepth knowledge it is one of the best self harm books on the market. Each section is broken up into small chapters so although the book is the size of a textbook it is very easy to read. Jan has written this in simple language that is easy to understand, whilst still using research to back up her claims and ideas. It is therefore an essential read for mental health professionals.

| Good book - goes well with the 'Power Animal Oracle Cards' by the same author...alot more details in this book of course which is very useful and it gives clear guidance on the power of each totem, when to call on them and what their significance is in your life. Easy to understand and use. |

While it does offer instruction in bringing about the relaxation response through meditation, there is also much supporting medical evidence, and examples of the approaches taken by practitioners of different religions through time. The book describes the techniques with photos and text which makes it very easy to follow and can easily be read when performing a massage. It comes with a cdrom which contains audio tracks to relax the person as they are being massaged. Every part of the body from feet to fingertips are covered and even recommends different massages for health problems like sinus problems.
Overall I would definately recommend this book as it represents excellent value for money. |
