| I've been a follower of kelly rae's journey via her blog for some time and was very interested to see how it translated into this book. The answer is, as far as I'm concerned, brilliantly well!
It's a "how to" book with a lot of heart, but not too much smulch. By sharing her experiences of awakening to her creative self and how she took action to turn this into living an everyday creative life she inspires and delights. The book is so brief and vague that it seems the author doesn't have a clear understanding of his topic. Names are dropped, with the work poorly described and then not referenced. The language used is appropriate for the target audience, but sentence structure is appalling. At times needless sentences made me wonder if a word count was being aimed for.

| This book was recommended by two of my Anthropology lecturers. It is well layed out dividing into well structured chapters. Each chapter is written by a specialist in the field, and at the end of each chapter there are extra readings to back up or give another viewpoint to what was just read. This book is very good if you want to read articles from various anthropological writer, but you do not want to purchase each of their books. | Alan Baddeley gives us a well-written and easy-to-read introduction to human memory. He gives an overview of the history of memory research and reviews current as well as earlier theories. The book is full of practical examples of tests and the author doesn't hesitate to convey his personal opinion while all the time being careful to state when he is doing so. | This is an indispensible book full of natural wisdom that opens up a whole world of thought. You will go back to read some passages again and again. The first 150 hundred pages are pretty hard work, but the pay off comes big time so stick with it. |
