| I heard about Dean Radin on a BBC "Horizon" TV programme earlier this year, the subject of which was decision-making. Radin was taking about experiments apparently showing people can predict what kind of picture is going to flash up before them. This is covered in Chapter 10 of this book, "Presentiment".

This is a very thought provoking and practical read at the same time! Working for a company that uses Net Promoter, this has really helped me see what I need to do to improve my Net Promoter score. I now realise we should be measuring emotions as part of our Customer Experience. |

| 'This Is Your Brain On Music' looks at the neuroscience behind listening to and performing music. Although I've read many popular science books and am familiar with the style of writing, I found this to be quite a hard going book at first. The first couple of chapters look at the structure of music and are quite dry to plow though. | My lecturer recommended this book for my cognitive psychology class. I'm not familiar with other books on the subject, but it covers a lot of material that is not found in more general cognitive textbooks. Unfortunately there are a lot of distracting mistakes and/or vague language, and some actually change the meaning of what Harley is saying. | Well, this book is very nice for beginners but also advanced and intermediate practitioners; those who have read 'The Power of Now' may feel a little bored by the first four chapters but stick with it and you really get to some juicy stuff. Things on identification, reification, hate, the world of time, and so forth.
Well worth a read. |

| i found this book to be very helpful in teaching you how to focus on personal goals and making positive changes in your life. It offered credible how to steps that showed you how to understand your needs, affirm yourself and your possibilities and then gave you the instructions that you needed to move you on to achieve your goals. It really gave me some tools to work with and it is a book that I will use over and over again. |
