| The book's all theory - you need one of his $2,950 courses to make it work, or get a book on it, as he tells you to do on page 77. So what's the point of buying this book? The first 67 pages are his definitions and his hugely time wasting theory. There's loads of repetiton.

| I have not read this book but I am already giving it 5 stars because I have always recited the typical blokes mantra 'why can't women just tell us what they want instead of leaving us guessing?'. Recently, since 'the game', there has been a surge of pickup books, all written by men. It's not like these books are against women either, it's making men more appealing and elligible to them. | In my opinion this is the best book on finding ways of conducting a mutually healthy relationship. The title may not give it away, but this book is truly about maintaining self-respect and being able to spot the sneaky little hoops men try to make us jump through. I have applied some of the principles and I can say the results were staggering. I recommended it to all my female friends. It may be a little bit americanised, but that may make it even more endearing.
And for God's sake hide it from THE MAN.. |

| Highly amusing little book - written in all seriousness in 1913 but very Cholmondley-Warner-esque in its outdated attitudes. This book is going to provide some gems for some light-hearted ribbing in my groom's speech when I get married shortly. |

| I found its extremely helpful in terms of the concept of magnifying oneself's core desire and deep purpose. I believe thats the core thing for a man to deal with whatever his work or women. some people may find the author's wording a bit exaggerated, and some techniques could be suspected, but i recon that techniques cannot be aligned with the core information the author trying to communicate. | Bought this today, but finished it quickly, as it's quite tiny. However, I thought it was lovely - some bits were funny or quaint, but to disagree with the other reviewer, I thought a lot of the advise was actually still very good and worth thinking about.
Maybe not one for the feminists, but not as old-fashioned as you might think either; much of the advise is basically about treating your wife with respect and thoughtfulness (which I must say, I'd prefer to being treated as another man any day!). I can't wait to get started on the one for wives now :) |
