| This book is amazing! I find myself using it on a daily basis to look things up as well as using the recipes. It's great for people like me who do not have a clue about cooking as it is very easy to follow. Even if you are a good cook already, you will find this book invaluable for giving you ideas on what to give your little one. I think my daughter would be living on jars of baby food if I hadn't bought this book! |

| I really love this book, the recipes are very easy and tasty, my baby loves them!!!.
If I didn't have the book, I would have never used broccoli, nor onion on a purée for example. This book has been an excellent guide to me. The author also gives very good nutritional tips. I'm very happy to have this book and I would recommend it to first time parents without a doubt. |

| great recipes (shame no pics tho - i do like a recipe book to have pics) which we are still using in our house (not just the toddler recipes) cos they're healthy, low on salt, sugar ecetera and as littlun has got older we've just stopped pureeing them.
good buy and plenty of scope for improvisation if you don't have the exact ingredients |

| I really can't see why this book attracted much interest. It's a collection of not very interesting observations, some obvious (children of rich parents do better than children of poor parents, estate agents are more interested in their commissions than in getting you the best price for your house), others tendentious (the crime statistics prove that more adding police reduces crime, IQ is hereditary). | This book was the BEST purchase we made. Even though we read the whole book, we didn't follow it like a manual, we picked the parts we needed and/or agreed with and used those. Our baby was (and still is) peacefully sleeping through the night from 3 1/2 months on and following a routine - NOT a timetable. As parents we are calm, coping and know exactly what our baby wants and needs thanks to the advice in this book. All in all we are are very contented household! | I bought this just a few weeks before my first baby was born at the end of last year, I found the first couple of chapters on general baby care and newborn very useful but then as the months went by, Gina seems to imply your baby 'should' be doing this and that and I sometimes felt that my baby didnt measure up to her exacting standards and her patronising tones made me feel inadequate as a first time mother. | Elizabeth Pantley's book is especially great for those parents co-sleeping and breastfeeding. It fills in the gaps where the Sears Attachment Parenting and Baby Sleep books fail on this angle. It mentions the co-dependancy of daytime naps and night-time sleeping.

| This book is absolutely brilliant and a "must have" for any new mum. I found it invaluable and have recommended it to all my new mummy friends!
It is broken down into helpful sections such as feeding, nappies, sleeping, what's happening to mum etc. The weaning section is fantastic and I refer to it on a daily basis at the moment. Highly highly recommended and without doubt the best baby book I have purchased. |

| This is a great book, nice print and easy to read. I was desperate to help my son who gets angry and frustrated quite alot. He is autistic and has speech and language problems and it was distressing to see him so angry. This book has helped alot. |

| my son, aged 9, has been asking for several weeks if we could have 'the chat' but i had no idea where to start or where to stop. This book gives a clear yet simple overview of the whole subject whilst making it sound so normal and part of everyday life- which of course to an adult it is- but to a child it may seem totally unreal.
