| I have come across this book for the first time today. I work in a school and a young child has recently lost one of their parents and was given this book by one of their friends. It was lovely to see a book that has nice activities as well as pages for the child to remember their loved one in a positive way. I wish this book had been around when I lost my dad. |

| Not sure what the cover is meant to construe, perhaps its a eureka! moment or something, anyway, this is a great book and this is a great edition of the book. The contents are clear, there is a good index included for students or anyone who needs to be able to make quick references to specific parts of the text.

We have just had a presentation at uni about introducing death to kids and been shown this book. I thought it was brilliant- it covers a wide range of situations from prem babies to accidents and getting old. it explains the difference between being alive and dead. A really useful way of talking to kids about death, not too heavy and even covers the fateful death of the hamster! |

| I've given this book 3 starts, as i'm not sure whether it deserves 1 or 5. I suffer from depression and found this book very disturbing. The second half is basically a guide to how to kill yourself, such as the amount of pills you should take. On the other hand, it did contain some useful information about suicide in general, which was interesting to read, and includes infomation on Euthanasia, although is slightly triggering if you're feeling suicidal. |

| After my Dad committed suicide unexpectedly in 2008 I wanted to find some answers and thought that reading some books may be helpful. This is by far the best book I have found so far on the subject of helping those who have lost loved ones to suicide.

| This book explains both the practicalities that need to be dealt with and some of the 'why' does it happen. The author is a suicide survivor and the text discusses the issues and experiences of other suicide survivors as well as practicalities like inquests, grief and support. Because it combines the two, it is not an afternoon read. But each chapter is self contained and manageable and the chapters do not need to be read in order.
