| Just bought the book today for a bargain tenner, and as it's a cold day chose the stew recipe (hotpot version). I bought the ingredients in my lunch hour and have cooked it tonight. Simple as that. The recipe was really clear to follow, and the results were absolutely delicious. Plus my kitchen smells like a proper kitchen for the first time in a long time!

| Well, what a read....I thoroughly enjoyed the book, the detail and further insight into the characters that we all know and love.
I would however, advise anybody to read Eldest again before ploughing into Brisingr - I found it useful to refresh my memory after waiting so long for book 3. I screamed out loud when I then realised I am now going to have to wait for book 4. That was mean! If you love Dragons, Magic and fantasy....the Inheritance Cycle is an absolute must. Read More: |

| Nigella's Christmas book is utterly fabulous.. like the lady herself. Beautiful to look at, rich sumptuous and full of good ideas.
The recipes and ideas for gifts are sublime and the whole colourful book makes me happy just reading it. Lovely Christmassy colours of red and green with lashings of gold and sparkly bits. I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and ordered my copy from here to arrive on the day it was released. Once I started I couldn't put this book down, From his times as an Altar Boy, to working in London to the sad ending that leaves you wanting to know more it's a must have for any fan. Paul has wrote this in a way that makes it sound like he is with you reading it. Almost like you're transported into his world watching the happenings he describes. Read More: |

| Have just finished reading. Ab wonderful. Made me laugh out loud, which caused a stir on the train!! I am a great fan of D F and am delighted the book was a great insight in to her life. Would make a great xmas gift. Have also read two other books recently which were also highly entertaining reading. "Now then lad" and "pop goes the weasel" which i bought together. |

| The book starts well although it reads a bit like a hagiography written by Arthur Hailey. That is ok by me I like Arthur Hailey and have always regarded Buffett as a saint. I laughed out loud several times during the first 50 pages.
After this it gets a bit heavier going. There are many insights and many surprises. I had not realised that Berkshire Hathaway lost money from the start and wound up having the textile mill shut down. I had not reliased that Buffett was first a director of Salomon brothers and ... Read More: |

| It's difficult to review this book without giving too much away. The subject matter is well covered but this approach is more unusual than others. It shows us how a child's simplistic point of view can portray so accurately and completely an horrific period in history, that we need not look for any other reference to the human tragedy of the holocaust.
