| I am a beginner when it comes to crystals and this book was a fantastic introduction for me, although I don't think it would be out of place in the expert's collection either.
It is very clear and well set out with large colourful photos of each crystal. The crystals are in alphabetical order listing their healing attributes and the position of use. | I am studying crystal healing and own this book. It is written by the same woman who wrote "The Crystal Bible" so they compliment each other well. Crystal prescriptions is excellent becuase you can look up an illness or complaint and find a list of crystals that can be used for it - rather than most crystal books which given you the crystals and a list of uses. | This is my first crystal book. And I am pretty new to crystals too. So I was very excited to get this book with all the good comments I have read about it.
At first the book is definately good. As the colour coordination of crystals helps me find names for my unknown common crystals. However soon I realised it doesn't give enough information on recognising crystals. It needs to give tips eg. difference between sodalite and lapis luzuli someone once said is that lapis lazuli has gold specs in it. ... Read More: |

| This book is nicely set out with beautiful pictures, and the healing properties of some of the more recently available crystals on the market including starseed quartz, blue quartz, Vera Cruz amethyst, septarian, atlantasite and more. There is a useful chart in the front displaying the 13 major chakras, instead of just the usual 7. The only drawback is that some of the crystals appearance is not described or pictured closely enough for identifying. |

| I'm into astrology as a hobbie and really enjoy flicking though 'The Astrology Bible'. I rarely go anywhere without it and often examine parts of my natal chart with the book as a guide. It's been a great way to start exploring astrology and I love the pictures and little side notes posted all the way through the book giving it a more approachable and friendly almost magazine quality.
