Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Pretty tedious.
Contary to widely-held beliefs, the late seventies Dr Who seasons produced some classic stories. This, unfortunately, is not among them. The first episode holds promise, but before long it's all descended into running around caves. References to Greek mythology are mistaken for a plot, uninteresting characters say "the quest is the quest" a lot, K9 shoots people and there are two beings with heads that look like pieces off a clockwork toy (it's never explained exactly who or what they are and where they come from). If you want Williams-era Dr Who then watch Horror of Fang Rock, City of Death or the Key to Time season. Just avoid this yawn-fest.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - ANOTHER CLASSIC FROM A WRONGLY MALIGNED ERA OF DOC WHO!!
Why has the Graham Williams era always been so heavily criticised? In my view, I cant see any forgettable or stupid stories at all. All I can remember are classics like Image Of The Fendahl and The Ribos Operation and The Sun Makers and The Pirate Planet and need I go on?! Oh yeah, City Of Death too! And heres another story to join the ranks as a classic in Doctor Who history.

Underworld has also been criticised for its CSO use with all the caves, but i think the story doesnt look that bad at all. And yet again then are great comic moments, such as when Leela is passified, this scene is one opf my favourite scenes ever of Doctor Who, she just looks so great! And this story is far better than moronic star wars, even if it doesnt have any real monsters. Star Wars is total garbage, for all of it so called brilliant effects it doesnt even start to gel with me, but the Doc always has! Hes far more likeable than that rubbish. And Tom Baker is as powerful as ever! So altogether, a well directed and produced story with great acting and great moments that ends up with a thoroughly entertaining story.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Tom Baker Classic
This is a fine example of Tom Baker as the fourth Doctor. With companion Leela and robotic friend K9 they search The Underworld and discover a race of humans in need of help. Of course the Doctor is happy to oblige but there are dangers in the tunnels! Well worth the money.
