As a fifty something going through the menopause I found this book both helpful and reassuring. It answered all my questions and now I understand what is happening to my body during the "changing years". Having experienced symptoms of the menopause I wondered whether I should visit my GP or just let nature take its course. After reading this extremely informative, clearly laid out and easy to understand book I relaxed in the knowledge that what was happening to me was quite normal. For anyone that experiences more severe symptoms, a number of options are also suggested to help cope with the menopause as well as possible.
